Lunch With Nigel and Leena

Ahh... a FUN day!! I had lunch with Nigel and Leena today.. They came over today! It was fun!! First in the morning, Leena and me, we went to Tesco, and we bought the stuff to cook. We came abck to my house at about 10.30am and then we started cooking. Leena Made the spaghetti and I made the Garlic Bread and Pizza. Nigel finally arrived at 11.20, late cos apparently he had an "international" call!! We all know who that was from!!

So when Nigel finally came... he made the salad, and the soup. I tell you that boy has no idea how to make a salad. For starters, Leena and me cut all the stuff for the salad. All he had to was TOSS the salad!. SO i handed him the salad dressing. His first problem. The salad dressing wouldnt come out of the bottle! So what does the genius do? he sticks the back of the fork into the bottle to get the dressing out. Then he drops the fork into the basin!!!
2. He doesnt want to use another fork to toss the salad! So what does he do? He sticks his hands into the basin and MIXES the salad!!! So disgusting!!

we had so much fun!! too bad it was only the three of us though. The rest of the gang, Van, Shobi, Janine, and Gajen, all were not around or couldnt make it. VAn was working. Sera couldnt come from the KAMPUNG. Shobi left for UNi in India d. Janine left for uni in Australia, and Gajen... well... Gajen couldnt come la.


18 months. We grew so close in the last 18 months. People we hardly knew at the begining became best friends. I'm gonna miss them!!!


BUT todays lunch was SOOOOO much fun! After eating, we played monopoly. Nigel won, followed by Subash, and then Me and then Leena. The at 4, Leena had to go. So we walked her to the door, and Nigel brought out the GUNS!!!!!! (water guns). LOL. We filled it up and all.. and then Leena jumped in her car and wound up the window. So we shot at her car instead!. LOL

All in alll it was a FUN FUN FUN day!!!

The First step...

The first step hath been crossed. Undang. Passed. YAY!!!!!!!!

So for those of you who dont get it.. i passed the undang!!! first step to getting my drivers liscense!
Early this morning I went to Soon Lee. There they asked me to practice on the computer there first before going for the test in Gembira Parade. But before i could finish the test, it was time to go. So we left to RILEK in Gembira Parade. There were two other people besides me who were going to sit for the test. So then we got to the testing place and then we gave our IC to the lady at the counter. She called us to go in the room a little bit later. I got computer no 9. Then i answered the questions.. and then i PASSED!!! There were two people siting next to me. One of them failed by 1 mark!!! poor thing. It as jut one mark!!! the other guy passed too.

So now i have to go for the theory thing next week and then start lessons.

CARPE DIEM....SLipped

I came accross this poem, a very beatiful insight to life. Two words came to mind. Carpe Diem. Seize the day. Let no opportunity pass you by. some times though i wonder. Would it be less hurtful to let opportunity pass you by? Ignore it. Do absolutely nothing. Maybe,Just maybe it will make things alot less painful. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I think this poem is absolutely beautiful. Maybe just maybe, someone else thinks its beautiful too.

An Upsetting day...literally

WHat an Upsetting day. It was one of those days where i seem to hear, get the message, that people are just not what they seem. Someone told me something shocking that had happened to them. Someone else who i tried to get advice form defended the wrongdoer, Someone else dissed me off(a person who I thought that I was close to and could tell/talk about anything to)
It sucks to find people this way. Its not like I see myself as the perfect being but just that yesterday the laws in the rest, people who i care about very muc, became obvious. For years i had tried to cover these flaws.
Now I see that maybe I'm at fault. I tried to cover what is naturally them. Maybe I'll make that mistake again, but definitely I wont make that mistake with the same person.

Holiday Blues.....

Ive Finished exams. Officially. IM done. No more .. for at least three months. And Im BORED. Seriously besides the Vettiamman clan reunion on the 20th,21st and 22nd of June, nothing else has been happening.

Anyways about the reunion. It was surprisingly FUN! i expected to be bored stiff surronded by a bunch of old poeple who were feeling nostalgic. Instead I had fun with my cousins! To my credit i didnt know that so many of us would turn up. LOL. Seriously though, i found that i am relatied to so many unexpected people. The most unexpected howvever would be (miss?) Puva. You see in form five, we had trainee teachers come and take over our biology lessons for about 3 months. The norm was to give these teachers hell. And that aws exactly what we did. The on the 22nd of June 2008, two whole years after i have left school, i run into the same biology trainee teacher, and go figure, shes my second cousin.

So other then the reunion things aournd here have been really BORING. My routine is as follows...

10.00-11.00 am wake up.

Stay online
Chat with equally bored frens
eat lunch/dinner
shower
dad home
watch desparate houswifes judging amy, er and Scrubs, According to JIm, and double episode of Friends

Go into room and chat some more
sleep

And the whole thing repeats again....

So yeah... this vacation.. is relatively boring

Interesting isnt it how people assume that once they have the grye hari and beard of the old the become wise with no work whatsoever on their part. And what is sadder still is that once they become "wise" they automatically belive that all those who are not 'gray' are stupid foolish fools.
